Water Poison Detection Kit
Water is the most vital resource for all kinds of life on this planet. There is every possibility of the drinking water getting polluted/poisoned either by intention or by accident. It must be ensured that water is free from poisons before it is declared potable. Testing of poisons in drinking water requires elaborate laboratory facilities which are not possible in remote areas. This Kit has been developed, keeping in view the above requirement and facilitates testing of most commonly present poisons, sulphur mustard, nerve agent and microbial contaminations.
The kit is housed in an aluminium container having a shoulder strap to carry it for field use and is provided with the reagents/material, sufficient for testing poisons 50 times each. The consumable reagents/material are quite stable and are replenishable. The WPDK tests are specific and can be performed systematically within 30 minutes, excluding the microbial contamination test which takes 18 hours.
