Personal Decontamination Kit (P.D.K.)
The Personal Decontamination Kit contents of three components, PDK-I, PDK-II and RDP. PDK-I is the containing the absorbent powder and PDK-II the puffer bottle with the same powder while the RDP is a pouch containing tissue paper soaked in a solution. All the three components PDK-I (Four Pouches), PDK-II (Two Bottles) and RDP (Two Pouches) have been packed together in a box under the common nomenclature PDK.
The use of Personal Decontamination Kit is to decontaminate the CW after their detection by physical adsorption from small area on clothing , gloves, shock and personal weapon etc.
