Portable Decontamination Apparatus (D.A.P.)
The Apparatus is made of Stainless Steel Sheet with provision for pressurizing the vessel by a pump & from a vehicle compressor built-in in the system. A lance with a scrubber, brush and an adjustable nozzle are provided for working at a safe distance from the contaminated surface. A pressure gauge indicate the pressure inside the apparatus. Shoulder straps for manual handling and brackets for fixing it on a vehicle are also provided.
The DAP is meant for use by a small party or with the vehicle to be employed in contingencies involving the aftermath of an attack using H, G and V agents for decontamination purpose on a small scale.
