First Aid Kit 'Type A'
The First Aid Kit Type 'A' is used in the battle field environment. There will often be occasions when troops are required to operate independently like patrolling parties, special mission etc. During CW exposure it may not be possible to evaluate causalities immediately to first echelon of treatment at regimental aid post. It is , therefore, desirable to equip the troops with a first aid kit.
All the Personnel operating in such toxic chemical environment will be issued such First Aid Kits for personal safety and protection until the personnel are brought to regimental Aid post. The kit is specially suited for a small batch of soldiers on petrol duties, etc.
The First Aid Kit CW Type 'A' is designed to provide the Medical aid to the NBC Warfare exposed troops in the battle field before their evacuation. It consists of mainly the medicines listed below which are required to treat the C & B agents poisoning specifically.
